Their third child, a son named Tara Jo Jo Gunne—after Richards' and Pallenberg's friend, Guinness heir Tara Browne—died aged just over two months, of sudden infantdeath syndrome (SIDS), on 6 June 1976. Richards was away on tour at the time, something he said has haunted him since.
